2012 Cultural Congress, April 22-24 in Yakima

The Washington State Arts Alliance produces the annual Cultural Congress, a collaborative conference that brings together a diverse group of cultural leaders to strengthen skills and cultivate partnerships through intensive workshops, peer dialogue, and dynamic speakers.
The 20th annual Cultural Congress: New Directions will be held April 22 - 24 in Yakima. With workshops and presentation at the convention center, dinners on the town, and opportunities to partake in the incredible arts environment in Yakima and the burgeoning cultural mecca of Mighty Tieton.

Winterfest with The Hi-Liners

2012 Neddy program at Cornish College of the Arts

From Cornish College:

The Neddy at Cornish is an annual artist award program supported by the Behnke Foundation and housed at Cornish College of the Arts in memory of Robert E. (“Ned”) Behnke and in celebration of his life as an artist. Each year, two $25,000 unrestricted awards are given—one in painting and one in any medium or combination of media grounded in the visual arts—to artists living and working in the greater Puget Sound region. Six finalists will also receive $1,000 and will be included in a group exhibition each June.
